JENNIFER YOUNG
Jennifer is a Registered Massage Therapist, and Manual Osteopath and a member in good standing with the CMTO and ACTMD. She received her Massage Therapy Diploma from the International Academy of Massage in Ottawa. She spent several years as part of the teaching faculty.
Her primary focus is in women’s health and pediatrics. She has been involved in the pre and post-natal community in Ottawa for 20 years where she worked as a Lamaze Childbirth Educator, a Lactation educator, Certified Infant Massage Instructor, Doula (birth attendant) and A Yoga instructor in Hatha, Fertility and Pre-Post Natal.
Jennifer applies a full system approach to her practice. She enjoys the challenge of putting together the puzzle and of working together to solve her patients’ issues. This is apparent in her assessment and treatment approach as well as considering her suggestion of homework to better support healing.

Jennifer never looks at her career as a job, it truly is a vocation and a labour of love. She loves helping parents prepare for the new phase in their lives and adjusting to each change. When working in pediatrics she is honoured that children and their parents trust her with something as delicate as their human body. She looks forward to the positive changes that can happen through treatment and post treatment suggestions that are offered.
